The Earthenware pot is handmade in terracotta, its rusty surface created through a special craft technique. The terracotta pot is first painted with black paint and then with a white. To create the rusty and smoked surface the paint is gently burned with a gas flame, and an antique paint is applied. Finally, the pot is coated to make the surface more durable.
